Due to COVID-19, St. John is currently closed but we are offering many online & virtual opportunities to continue to worship together during this crisis.
Each week, resources are posted for virtual Sunday worship. Just click on the Worship menu above and navigate to the current week's page.

Come & Worship at St. John!
Sunday Worship Services
8:15 am and 10:30 am The 8:15 service is contemplative in nature and entirely spoken. The 10:30 service is accompanied by music, using the full range of hymnody from the time of the Reformation to the present. Our service is built around the liturgies found in the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW), the worship book and hymnal of the ELCA. Those familiar with the Roman Catholic or Episcopalian worship style will find much in common with the Lutheran order of worship. Everything needed to follow along and participate in our services is printed in our weekly bulletin; no books or hymnals are necessary! The Holy Communion is celebrated at all of our Sunday services. St. John practices eucharistic hospitality; all baptized Christians are welcome to participate as we gather at Christ's table. Young children may also come forward and receive a blessing.
A playroom is available in classroom S8 during the 10:30 service, but at this time an adult guardian must remain in the playroom with their child(ren). Please ask one of our greeters or ushers for help with finding the nursery, restrooms or water fountains. And after service, join us in the Great Room, our gathering place, for coffee, cookies and conversation! |
