Church Book Keeper
Accepting applications for Church Book Keeper at St. John Lutheran Church in Blue Bell, Pa. We are seeking an individual to provide office book keeping services for our staff and members.
Responsibilities would include:
Skills required for this position are strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Excel and Word strongly preferred. Must be self-directed but collaborative in nature. Experience with nonprofit bookkeeping systems is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience strongly preferred. Educational experience with an Associate’s Degree as a minimum also preferred.
This position is part-time at 8 to 10 hours a week, with some flexibility for the schedule, and features comparable per hour pay for this level of work. - Maintaining the computerized accounting records including payroll & related taxes
- Managing the checking accounts
- Preparing monthly financial reports for the Treasurer
