Event Details:
Our 7th Annual MLK Day of Service is a great opportunity for us to serve others. Martin Luther King once said "that everybody can be great because everybody can serve".
This year we will be focusing all our efforts on collections for the Norristown Hospitality Center who provide basic needs and social services to empower those experiencing homelessness and poverty. We will gather to fill nylon backpacks with needed items for those experiencing food and housing insecurity.
How you can help:
- Donate needed items -- we set-up an easy Amazon wish list of items that can be delivered directly to the church
- Items needed: hand warmers, adult socks, adult t-shirts (all sizes), snack packs (peanut butter crackers, cookies), shampoo (travel size only)

- Donate funds to help us purchase items (Checks payable to St. John, mark for MLK or via Amazon gift card on wish list)
- Join us the day of to help assemble backpacks
